The last couple of days have been beautiful and restful. No work, nowhere to go, not much to do. Its been nice.
The snow has just been gorgeous. Big, fluffy snowflakes swirling around in the air. Its funny how snow brings out the playfulness in people. Both children and adults just seem to get into the spirit of the snow day, build snowmen, go sledding and throw snowballs at each other in the street. Its fun and it makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside, even in the cold weather.
Yesterday after yoga and lunch out with Delpha and her husband David, I headed home. Richie and I just hung out in our flat, not really doing much. We made some omlettes with leftover fried potatoes and onions and then I was feeling a bit antsy. I figure, if we have all this time off work, we might as well get out and be a bit social and use the time wisely. So we headed out to visit Sara and Amanda. It was such a good night. Just chillling out, chatting and having a nice relaxing time.
So, as far as I know, I will be teaching a class tonight. I hope so! Time off is great, but earning a living is also great!
