Okay, so technically, Liam isn’t Turkish, but he has had his first taste of Turkish-style food! His latest eating experience involved patlıcan purée mixed with yoğurt (aka- aubergine/eggplant and yogurt), and he liked it! Yum, I liked it too and I must admit I stole a few little bites. Ah, literally stealing food right out of the mouth of a baby; it’s a new low for me! Anyway, it was so yummy, I made up a batch of it this morning for Richie and I to have with some roasted chicken wraps that we’ll be having for dinner tonight. It’s a Greek style chicken recipe, so while it might be a cultural faux pas to mix the Greek and the Turkish, flavour-wise it should be excellent.
